Arcadian Cafe,located near mini market roundabout, has got quiet a reputation of being a fine dine place which serves quality food.This eatery has recently expanded to two more places in Lahore seeing Lahoris’ love for this place.You can read about their Signature Branch here.

The interior was not fancy or spacious but decent and classy with an oblong bar-rarity in Lahore .They are definitely successful in providing a calm and perfect ambiance for a nice meal.

Arcadian Cafe serves Italian, Continental and French cuisines.They have numerous varieties from all of these cuisines.The drinks menu is adequately varied to provide drinks, juices, mock-tails etc.We tried their famous Bai Ze Chicken, Sun Tzu Chicken(on staff’s recommendation) and Mint Chocolate Blast.

Ba Ze Chicken

This dish is listed as one of Arcadian Specials and its hype had set the expectations really high.The dish had stuffed rolls, Chicken and egg fried rice.Rolls were stuffed with little quantity of mushrooms and capsicum topped with a sauce which had a sweet and sour taste.Chicken was crispy on outside and soft inside but bland, only  topping of sauce added most of the taste.Egg fried rice were nothing special and tasted just like any other egg fried rice.This dish costs you around PKR 825 .

Sun Tzu
This was recommended by their staff as one of the bests if we wanted something spicy.It was available with beef, prawns and chicken.We tried it with chicken and it got served with egg fried rice and vegetables including zucchini, carrots capsicum and chillis. Chicken cubes were stir fried, a bit hard but submerged in mild-tasting sauce.This item costs you around PKR 815 for chicken, PKR 875 for beef and PKR 1000+ for prawns. It is a perfect meal for someone who prefers their meals with vegetables and less oil.

Mint Chocolate Blast
It was a chocolate-rich drink with a blast of mint flavor. The flavor added a bitter touch to sweet chocolate though and those who don’t like mint, this one is not recommended,.The quantity of the drink compared with the price of PKR 395 seemed a bit unjustified.

The service of this place was perfectly fine and the quantity of food was justified for its price and quality.
 
Final Verdict
Arcadian cafe has maintained an image of a fine dine restaurant which serves great variety of food with a perfect ambiance but at comparatively  higher prices than normal .Well, we agree with all of this except that this was not the most expensive eatery we have reviewed so far.So if you want a nice peaceful meal with your family or friends at a cost of PKR 1400-1600/person, Arcadian should be your final choice.
