For once in a while it seems fine to spend humongous amount on a meal at a fancy place; however,It is only natural to look for reasonably priced restaurants with great food for other times.Located on Kasuri Road,Jade cafe should be your choice If you are a fan of fancy food with average pricing.It is a small cozy dining place with indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. Overall, the atmosphere and environment is nice neither too stylish nor too simple.
Coming to the main part, Jade Cafe offers a variety of Fast food, Sea food and Continental dishes.The taste, the quality and the pricing form a rare yet delightful combination. We tried Ultimate Quesadillas for appetizers, Chicken Parmigiana and Jade Special Pizza for main course. A Peach Chiller in drinks.
Additions: Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Mozzarella Stuffed Roulade in Moroccan Sauce and Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken
Peach Chiller
This chiller tasted like peach and lots of ice mixed together. Nothing more than that. If you are craving for a true chilled peach flavor this drink is heaven for you.The chiller costs around 300.
Peach Ice-Tea
A chilled ice-tea with some extra sweetness and flavour of peach and fruit pieces at a cost of 250 would describe this drink the best. This ice-tea tasted like artificial peach flavour was used and it was sweeter a bit more than required.
Ultimate Quesadillas
The appetizer was tortillas filled with chicken jalapeno served with cheese and chilly sauce. If you like spicy food then this appetizer is for you.
Chicken Parmigiana
The Chicken Parmigiana was fried chicken with melted cheese all over it, served with spaghetti. All you chicken and cheese lovers, this dish is calling for you!
Jade Special Pizza
The thin crust medium-sized Jade Special Pizza was a total delight with perfect blend of spices, cheese, veggies and chicken. Also, the crust was crispy yet not hard. Mouth-watering,right?
Mozzarella Stuffed Roulade in Moroccan Sauce
This menu item was one of the best so far. This chicken stuffed with mozzarella cheese and crispy to right amount with a mild spicy and perfectly tasteful sauce won our hearts away.The chicken was crispy outside, soft inside and filled with slight spicy sauce was and ideal main course for people who like cheesy spicy menu items.This item costs 650 PKR.
Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken
Alfredo pasta with creamy cheddar cheese sauce, lacked in taste somehow. The sauce, the pasta and the grilled chicken were A BIT bland.This pasta is probably not the very best of Alfredo pastas ottutu has tried so far. It will cost 540 PKR.
Honey Mustard Chicken
This was two crispy outside perfectly cooked chicken fillets with honey-mustard sauce all over them.The sauce was deciding the taste of this dish. The sauce had sweet and slight tangy taste just like any other honey-mustard sauce would have. This dish costs you around 550 Pkr and is recommended for people who like mild spicy, sweet flavoured touch to their main course along with fries.
Pulled Chicken Panini
Shredded chicken in between panini bread, grilled to add perfect crisp with a very spicy sauce added to it. This panini was dominant in its spicy-chili taste and was a perfect sandwich for spice lovers. It costs you around 550 for this panini. Compared to other item’s serving quantity, this dish had less serving than others on same price.
Nutella French Toast
These nutella stuffed french toasts are undoubtedly a heavenly treat to nutella lovers.Each bite of this menu item gives you a taste of non-soggy, mild sweet french toast with a hint of cinnamon and lots of nutella. Good thing was that they came with some extra nutella to add on to them. For a price of 290 these toasts are a must try.

Chicken Fajita Omelette
This three eggs omelette was layered omellate eggs with cheese and fajita chicken chunks inside, topped with salsa and feta cheese The eggs were bland, the salsa,cheese and chicken added a dominant saucy cheesy taste to omelette. All in all this was a mild cheesy, light omelette for a price of 490.

Desi Breakfast Thaali
This thaali contained Dum Chicken Qeema, Alu Bhujia, Classic Channas, Suji Halwa, Achaar alongwith a fried egg and Lacha paratha. Everything was in a minimal quantity,, paratha was perfect and nothing in this thaali was extra oily.Channay were definitely tastier and different then other usual options available in Lahore. The qeema and alu bhujia tasted average. All in all this thaali was a bit overpriced for a value of 750 PKR but definitely needs to be tried out if you are a desi nashta lover who doesn’t like excessive oil in their food.
Final Verdict
This place is a must-try seeing that its offers tasty food at affordable prices.The highest priced menu item was worth PKR 990 excluding taxes, and that too was seafood.The thin crust pizza was as low as PKR 390 going maximum to PKR 590 only.
If you only try main courses, it will cost around 600-700 PKR per person.
